Trends Tendance has published a 2-page interview about the arrival of Javier Martinez and Yves Warnant at the management of Barré SA, to develop the company in Belgium and internationally. One ambition : become the key player in Stainless Steel Manufacturing for the Biopharma industry.

Accelerate the gowth of Barré SA

In december 2019, Luc Barré has opened the capital of his company to two new partners : Javier Martinez, CEO, and Yves Warnant, Director. The new management team has the ambition to develop the turnover in Belgium and abroad, on its key markets : Clean Piping, ventilation and air processing (HVAC), engineering and special stainless steel pieces.

« Barré SA has always been at the cutting edge of technology and owns several patents, tells the founder. But to continue to grow, industrialize our team and processes, to move from a business model centered around the boss to an organization suited for growth, including internationally, time had come for me to surround myself with people with a management profile. »

« We have been seduced by the unique expertise developped by the company in the Biopharma sector. This sector develops in Belgium, and we want to let the world know about the unique skills at Barré » says Javier Martinez. The new CEO, who worked previously for Cemex, ABInbev and Lhoist, looks forward to developing this walloon flagship company.

Yves Warnant adds : « Luc Barré has done a tremendous job. Next to him, for the long term, we want to transfer to the new generations of engineers, technicians and welders the unique experience needed to serve our Biopharma clients. »

A fast growing sector

The new directors, both engineers, have met during their MBA at INSEAD, a business school in France, near Paris. Their international profile and their network will help the company attract talents, a key point for the years to come.

The Biotech and Biophama sector grows fast in Belgium and especially Wallonia. The new directors want to help the sector grow, especially by increasing production capacities and attract new talents.
